When it comes to providing quality health care services and taking exceptional care of people, BJC HealthCare’s mission has remained steadfast since its founding in 1993:  To improve the health of the people and communities we serve.

For the past 25 years, BJC has been pushing the boundaries of medical technology and delivering premier health care services to people in urban centers, suburban neighborhoods and rural communities throughout Missouri and southern Illinois — in hospitals, long-term care facilities, outpatient treatment centers, homes, schools and community settings.

As a nonprofit organization and one of the region’s largest employers, BJC also works hard to be a good neighbor and institutional community member, including support of charitable organizations.

To celebrate BJC’s 25th anniversary, BJC will give back a total of $25,000 in one or more donations to local nonprofit, 501(c)3 organizations, nominated by a BJC team member. Nominations will be accepted throughout October, and winners will be announced in December.

  • Total of $25,000 donation
  • Must be a 501(c)3 organization
  • Only BJC employees are eligible to nominate
  • Organizations should be associated with health, wellness, behavioral health, education, youth/childhood development, neighborhood revitalization, community development or another health-related purpose
