Doors open at 8:30 a.m. for breakfast and networking. The program starts at 9 a.m. RSVP if you plan to attend.

Event highlights

Guest speaker Pamela Meanes is a partner at the law firm Thompson Coburn LLP and an experienced civil litigator and national leader on issues of civil rights and equal justice under the law. Hear Meanes share lessons from her personal journey.

To help serve the community, the kick-off event will feature a professional clothing drive to benefit Dress for Success Midwest, a program of Connections to Success. Consider donating your interview-appropriate, nearly new or gently used, clean, professional clothing that’s current fashion, preferably folded and packed in boxes. Items needed include:

  • Accessories, such as shoes, handbags, jewelry, belts, ties and briefcases
  • Winter coats

Personal checks and gift cards will also be accepted. Download a flyer for more information.

Attendees will have a chance to take a professional head shot, as well as enjoy a fun photo booth with co-workers.

What a great event! I was just wondering what organization I could donate jewelry and coats I no longer wear! Perfect timing. I will look deeper in my closets now!
