BJC | BJC HealthCare is 30,000-plus team members strong, and each team member is unique. That’s why BJC is committed to promoting a more diverse, engaged and inclusive workplace for everyone who helps to make medicine better.
Inclusion can be described as a feeling of belonging. And sometimes an important step to inclusiveness is connecting with others. The BJC Connections groups are designed to do just that — connect team members with others.

Connections groups are voluntary, team member-led groups that provide an opportunity to connect employees with others based on shared characteristics, similar interests or life experiences. Membership commonly includes traditionally under-represented groups in the workplace. Other team members who want to show their support (also known as “allies”), are also welcome to join the Connections groups, as these groups are open to all BJC team members.
In addition to the Connections groups mentioned in the video, two new groups will launch this fall – BJC Blended Connection (for BJC’s people of color and all team members who’d like to show their support) and BJC Disability Connection (for BJC’s people with disabilities and all team members who’d like to show their support).
Details about all of the BJC Connections groups, including photos and information about upcoming events, can be found on the BJC Connections website, http://www.bjc.org/BJC-Connections.
