BJC | BJC employees and their families can experience BJC Day at the Ballpark July 13 this year.
Enjoy a day of fun, food and festivities at the annual picnic and St. Louis Cardinals baseball game. The Cardinals take on the Arizona Diamondbacks at Busch Stadium, starting at 6:15 p.m. (time subject to change).
Tickets will go on sale at all locations in May. Employees should contact their specific human resources department for more information on ticket sale dates, times and locations. At Barnes-Jewish Hospital, watch for announcements or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Game tickets are $10 per person and free for children age 3 and younger, provided they can sit on a parent’s lap. All BJC game attendees, including those age 3 and younger, must wear the wristbands provided with ticket purchases for the picnic.
The picnic — with autograph sessions, food, fun and games, and a special appearance by Fredbird! — will take place prior to the baseball game at Poelker and Kaufmann Parks, between 13th Street and Tucker Boulevard at Market Street (next to the Soldiers Memorial and across the street from City Hall).
Watch for more details in upcoming issues of BJC TODAY.

How many tickets are you allowed to purchase under this deal?
4/9/2019 12:32 PM
Hi, Christine. Most BJC workplaces allow employees to purchase up to four tickets. However, that can vary by hospital or service organization, so your best bet is to check with your human resources department — or, if you work at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, email firstname.lastname@example.org.

I went last year for the first time, the picnic was wonderful and it was a great game, but then it rained twice. It was still a good day, I'm looking forward to going this year also.

So some of us in BJC work 7on,7off and this is on the same weekend rotation as last year. Can they please take this into account when scheduling it NEXT year so everyone gets a chance to go?

what time does the picnic start

Thank you for asking! Arrangements are being finalized, so we'll have specific information on the picnic, etc., soon. Keep checking BJCnet for the latest information.

Please do not forget to arrange for recycling this year. Thousands of plastic bottles and cans were discarded into the trash cans because no recycling bins were available.

I was wondering if you know what players are signing autographs ?
4/18/2019 2:43 PM
Good question - the Cardinals will tell us who's scheduled a little closer to the date. And, of course, which active players are able to attend could always change at the last minute, according to who's on the injured list, etc. So, stay tuned - we'll let you know when we find out!

Where are the seats located in the stadium?
4/22/2019 9:41 AM
The Cardinals give us the seats they have available, so they're located throughout the stadium. Your local HR representative may be able to tell you where the seats being sold at your HSO are located.

Will this be a lottery again this year? If so there is no guarantee getting tickets correct?
4/22/2019 9:44 AM
Margaret - Tickets are sold on a first-come, first-served basis, rather than by lottery. Check with the HR rep at your location to find out when and where tickets go on sale.
